International Women's Day

March 8th is a global day that has been organized to recognize and celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. For many years, this day has been a day to recognize and celebrate the great steps forward that have been made for women. However, much more can be done and we all have our part to play.

If you are an employer: take gender out of your hiring and promotion decisions. Keep your wages and benefits equal for all genders.

If you are a coach, teacher or any other leader: don’t see gender when making decisions and remember to include all equally.

If you are a partner: love, respect, and treat the women in your life as the queen they are.

If you are a women: support, encourage and lift up the women in your life – including yourself!

The Chestermere Women’s Crisis Society is proud of the women we have helped, our volunteers and all women. We see your value and believe that you are enough just the way you are.

This International Women’s Day we stand with all women in solidarity and support.

We are strong!

We are smart!

We are beautiful!

We are enough!

Sincerely,

The CWCS Board of Directors
